
Rhubarb Slush Drink
Preparation Time: 40 minutes
Freezing Time: 4-6 hours
Ingredients
3 cups rhubarb ( or 2 cups rhubarb and 1 cup strawberries)
1 cup water
1/3 cup sugar (or ½ cup, if you prefer a sweeter drink)
1 cup apple juice
¾ cup thawed pink lemonade concentrate
1 4L bottle lemon lime soda pop

Ingredients

¾ cup thawed pink lemonade concentrate
1 4L bottle lemon lime soda pop
Directions
- Put rhubarb, water, and sugar together in a medium-sized saucepan. Bring to a boil. Then simmer for 5 minutes or until rhubarb is very tender. Mash and stir until rhubarb mixture becomes a thick liquid. Cool for 30 minutes.
- Add apple juice and pink lemonade concentrate. Freeze.
- Put 2 or 3 spoonsful into the bottom of a glass and top with soda pop. Mix and enjoy.
